Growing a Greener Future with McCoy and FEED

As part of its ongoing commitment to sustainability and social responsibility, McCoy Philippines continues to take meaningful steps toward creating long-term environmental impact. This year, we are proud to partner with Fostering Education & Environment for Development (FEED), Inc. in a tree planting initiative under the Living Legacy: Plant a Tree, FEED Our Future program — a movement dedicated to restoring forests while empowering communities.

On August 30, 2025, McCoy volunteers will take part in FEED’s Forest Fitness Program at the Laguna-Quezon Land Grant in the Sierra Madre Mountains. More than a tree planting activity, the Forest Fitness Program blends environmental action with community engagement and physical wellness. Surrounded by one of the country’s most vital natural ecosystems, our team will contribute hands-on effort to rehabilitate forest areas while deepening our understanding of ecological responsibility.

Through this initiative, McCoy Philippines supports the planting and long-term monitoring of 480 native forest trees. Native species play a crucial role in restoring biodiversity, strengthening soil health, and increasing forest resilience against climate change. By focusing not only on planting but also on sustained monitoring, the program ensures that each tree has the opportunity to thrive — turning a single day of action into a lasting environmental legacy.
